This is my memories
It was so special to have my mom with me and my family. I so loved having her come to my home and share in the specialness of our family unit.
I can remember when mom and I would go outside and weed the flower bed or the tomatoes - which was so sweet that we had to go and get some salt and eat a few tomatoes right then.
I remember loving the way that she loved my little ones and how she listened to them and loved them. She would hold them to settle them down.
She would participate in FHE activities
I remember how she would help me at special occasions such as Christmas, Thanksgiving or Easter. When she was at my home and she would share her magic in cooking and cleaning and setting of the tables. She is a very good cook.
She is so good to everyone she meets. She has a love within her that makes you want to be by her.
She would go to church with me. She would make friends with all the sisters in the ward. She would include everyone in talking to them. She would participate in the lessons as well. My mom was so knowledgeable about the church.
She also wanted to see my married children homes to see all of the things that they do with their homes.
She loved animals. I had some cats and a dog and she loved bringing treats for them and have them sit by her and put their heads on her lap. She would rub them and love them. When she would come back then the animals would all go up to her to see what treat she brought for them and when she came to the couch they would crowd in around her.
Ken was going to college and stayed with her. She would treat him like he was her favorite. She would spoil him so much.
I loved being spoilt by my mom. It is so wonderful.
I miss my mom so much that it hurts my heart
I am so grateful for knowing that I can be with my mom in the afterlife and have her hugs once again.
She is my special mom in whom I love greatly
