I remember when my grandma brought me to meet my great grandma almost 10 years ago. She was very kind and loved telling us stories about when Grandpa was little. I wish I was able to know her a bit more; but nonetheless she's my great grandma and she will be missed.

From Jonathan Casper

Jonathon had a funny memory of him and grandma. We were all over at grandma‘s house eating some dinner and we had the ranch dressing. Grandma grabbed it after Jonathon and she shook it up real good and it got all over the place because the lid wasn’t even secured on it, but that was a really good laugh

From Patty Garrison

So this is my "story". Mom never made me feel less than a daughter. She treated me like one of her girls. She was interested in me and my life. She taught me things a mother teaches her daughters, making bread for instance. I used her recipe all of my adult life to make bread. She taught me to be kind but not to be taken advantage of. She was my mother in heart and mind. I will miss her til we meet again.

Love you guys!

This is my memories

It was so special to have my mom with me and my family. I so loved having her come to my home and share in the specialness of our family unit.

I can remember when mom and I would go outside and weed the flower bed or the tomatoes - which was so sweet that we had to go and get some salt and eat a few tomatoes right then.

I remember loving the way that she loved my little ones and how she listened to them and loved them. She would hold them to settle them down.

She would participate in FHE activities

I remember how she would help me at special occasions such as Christmas, Thanksgiving or Easter. When she was at my home and she would share her magic in cooking and cleaning and setting of the tables. She is a very good cook.

She is so good to everyone she meets. She has a love within her that makes you want to be by her.

She would go to church with me. She would make friends with all the sisters in the ward. She would include everyone in talking to them. She would participate in the lessons as well. My mom was so knowledgeable about the church.

She also wanted to see my married children homes to see all of the things that they do with their homes.

She loved animals. I had some cats and a dog and she loved bringing treats for them and have them sit by her and put their heads on her lap. She would rub them and love them. When she would come back then the animals would all go up to her to see what treat she brought for them and when she came to the couch they would crowd in around her.

Ken was going to college and stayed with her. She would treat him like he was her favorite. She would spoil him so much.

I loved being spoilt by my mom. It is so wonderful.

I miss my mom so much that it hurts my heart

I am so grateful for knowing that I can be with my mom in the afterlife and have her hugs once again.

She is my special mom in whom I love greatly
