Gilbert was predeceased by his mother, Clementina Cardenas Villa, his brother Camilo Gastelum Cardenas and grandson Jacob Gastelum. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Gastelum, two minor children, Christopher and Raquel Gastelum, three adult children, Gilbert, Grace and Steven Gastelum and three grandchildren, Haley, Kelsey and Riley. He is also survived by his father, Camilo Gastelum Lozoya, and siblings, Aida, Marta, Clementina, Linda, Petra, Rosie and Victor.
