Gilberto Gamba (1930-2024)

He was born in Tolima, Colombia and passed away in Boston, Massachusetts. His parents Antonio and Susana gave him eleven siblings: Enith, Rosita, Maria, Gricelia, Claudina, Bertha, Lorenzo, Antonio, Isauro, Camilo, and Gustavo.

Gilberto Gamba, a beloved husband, father, and friend, peacefully passed away at the age of 94. He was a man of quiet strength, known for his gentle demeanor and unwavering love for his family. Gilberto was a lifelong learner, finding solace and joy in the pages of countless books. He also cherished his time spent fishing, finding tranquility in the quiet moments by the water. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to a successful career as a car parts dealer, where he built lasting relationships with his customers. Gilberto will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Myriam Medina, his children Ana Maria, Gustavo Adolfo, Claudia Patricia, Gilberto, and Marcela; his grandchildren Adrian, Ariana, Elisa, Sebastian, Nicolas, Daniela, Juliana, Felipe Andres, Nathaly, and Juan Sebastian; and his great-grandchild Nicolas Agustin.

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, and a love for life that will forever be cherished. 

A mass will be offered in honor of Gilberto on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
