i think gil and i were room mates for a year at harlingin afb in texas. i really enjoined knowing gil as spent a in the aviation cadet program, we graduated  together nov 7  1957. gil went toSAC an i wentADC as a radar intercept officer. i was trying get in touch with him when ran into his obit. at the time i knew him ted williams was my favorit hitter gil told me his cousin doris was married to him. he told me ted  was a jerk. my condolences to gils whole family.  capt glenn f stuve
