My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Such a wonderful and compassionate person. He would come to the Campbell's Soup Company Store when he had a meeting. Such kind and caring.  No matter how much people complain, he never got mad. He helped me a couple of times with problems. I will always remember him.
I was [ truely saddened] when I heard the news of Gilbert's passing. He was a mentor and friend. He is the reason that I became a steward , and later accepted  the chief stewards position. He taught me that everyone should be treated fairly and equally.  And that we all should  be safe and respected in the work place. He always was genuine, tenacious  and kind. I will miss him.

So sorry to hear about Gilbert, Debbie. He was such a great person and coworker. Sending my thoughts and prayers.
My condolences to Debbie and all of Gilbert’s family. Gilbert really was a welcoming and caring man and if more people were like him the world be a better place!

Send flowers

Share your sympathy. Send flowers from a local florist to Gilbert's family or funeral.
A good man I knew well, Gilbert was trusted and respected by the workers he diligently represented and by all throughout our union who came to know him. His passing makes our circle smaller but his time among us made it stronger !
