--------------UPDATE: January 17, 2020--------------

The late Gilbert Bashore was interred at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (Annville, PA) on December 20, 2019 during a service officiated by Matt Christ, Senior Pastor at Little Swatara Church of the Brethren. The grave is located at Section C-18, Row B, Site 13. The Bashore Family is grateful to the honor guard detail dispatched from the U.S. Navy for presenting the American flag to our family. We wept in unison as Taps was played by a lone bugler.

Information on the exact location of his grave at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be provided in January 2020, upon completion of the interment in December 2019. The Bashore Family is appreciative of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for their efforts in providing Gilbert with this final resting place.
