Giana N. Hutton, 32, died unexpectedly on September 15, 2020. Her family and friends are deeply saddened and still in shock by her passing.

Giana was born in Chicago, IL. She attended Homewood-Flossmoor High School and was passionate about tennis and history. After graduating high school, Giana attended Williams College where she majored in African American Studies. She then went on to earn a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. Most recently, she was accepted to a prestigious program at George Washington University for those interested in being in managerial positions within government entities.

Anyone who knew Giana, knew that she was kind, loving, passionate, smart, and had a deep connection with those around her. In her final days, she placed an emphasis on wanting peace in her life. Giana’s family and friends will miss her more than words can say.
