Gia E. Atkinson was born on September 19, 1970 to Mr. and Mrs. George and Susan Atkinson in Charlotte, North Carolina. She died on the early morning of December 12, 2020. Gia grew up in Hidden Valley Estates and attended Hidden Valley Elementary, Northeast Junior High, and Myers Park High School where she could always be found singing in the choir.
