Gertrude Ann Lush, 92, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2020. Born in Verplanck, NY, she was a long-time resident of Montrose, NY, where she built a life of service and music.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard Lush, she is survived by her four children, Bill Lush, Janet Barry, Lorraine Lush, and Eileen Green; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter who brought her immense joy in her later years.

Gertrude served as a legal secretary and organist at the Church of the Divine Love for over six decades. Her unwavering dedication to her work and faith touched countless lives. Even after retiring at age eighty-eight, Gertrude’s passion for music remained undiminished. She became a piano teacher and played her cherished piano daily, filling her home with beautiful melodies right up until the time of her passing.

A private service will be held, with interment at Sunset Cemetery in Montrose, NY.
