Gertrude ( Trudy ) Caldwell Coggins Compos, passed away in Memphis TN on May 14th 2020. She was formally from Spartanburg South Carolina & worked in the hospital system for many years. Surviving are two daughters Lynne Cathcart ( Chuck Dowdie ) of Memphis Tennessee, Terry Galloway ( William ) of Charleston SC, one son Paul T Cathcart ( Robin ) of Pacolet SC. Seven grandchildren, Shannon Smith ( Jenni ), Alexis Hamrick ( Kyle ) of Spartanburg SC , Natasha Patino & Manuel Patino ( Caroline ) of Baltimore Maryland, Trey Cathcart ( Amy ) of Inman SC, Brittani O’Connor ( Josh ) of Malden SC Bethani Williams ( Jimmy ) of Simpsonville SC. Eight great grandchildren, Austin Moody ( Mary ) Katlyn Smith & Harper Smith, Abigail & KJ Hamrick,Cohen & Jenson O’Connor & Caroline Williams. One brother John Coggins ( Janet ) of Greensboro NC & preceded in death by a brother George Coggins.
