Gerda's obituary
Born August 10, 1926 to Ernst and Erna Schwartz of Center Line. Gertie grew up in Centerline and lived in the family home most of her life. A devoted and loved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
She loved people and most everyone loved her too. She had a quick smile a warm heart and always a hug for family and friends. Her laugh was contagious and she brought joy to those lucky enough to have known her.
Gertie is survived by her long term love Herb Clarke, her brother Erwin Schwartz (Judy) of Florida, her sister Dorothy Weishaupt of WA. State, several nieces and nephews. Although she did not have children of her own, Gertie loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.
Gerda was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Elsie Marcucci.
There will be no services, per Gerda’s request.
