Gerardo was one of our Coke Scholars in 2000. His roommate from Scholars Weekend (Jon Jung) just let us know of his passing in 2023. We are so sorry to hear this! We are sending his family and friends our prayers and condolences.

I worked with Gerardo during medical residency and he was one of the finest doctors I have known. Brilliant, incredibly caring, and so dedicated to helping those most in need. He will be dearly missed
