David,
Your Father was a great man and I wish we had seen home more, but the memories that we have of him are fond.
We can’t wait to celebrate his life with you.
Sincerely,
James, Chesley, Gray and Elle

Jerry was a larger than life personality. He brought so much fun and joy to the Albuquerque Newcomers' Club. He was always smiling! I will miss both him and Liz.

Jerry was always up for an adventure, always in the present. It didn't matter if you were going to the river or going to the lake going out to eat or just staying at home and reading book, he totally enjoyed himself, I will really miss my uncle and my friend.

David,
Joe and I are sending our deepest condolences with hugs. It’s hard to believe your Dad has passed. He has always seemed large than life. As little children Mike , Linda, and I would run into his room on Booth Street leaping on him, giggling , till he woke up, roared, throwing us all off of him. (This was pre-Vietnam) Somehow, He never complained about this then would go back to sleep for hours.
We spent time with him and your Mom in their various homes eating great pizza, home cooked meals and BBQ sausages. We enjoyed The Finger Lakes, Niagara Falls, wineries, the jet ski, museums, and touring the Great North East with them. I quickly learned I could not win at Dominos resulting in washing lots of dishes and buying lots ice cream.
We are happy to have seen your Dad in August at Danny Scotlands wedding. It was a mini family reunion. We are hoping your happy memories sustain you in this difficult time.
Love your cousin Karen and Joe.

So sorry to hear this. Jerry was an amazing person and amazingly kind. Our families spent 10 years on Cayuga Lake for two summer weeks each year. So many great memories. Jerry knew where the best restaurants were in every small town around. When he got the grill fired up, he did it right, over charcoal. And he always brought the best cuts of meat from a butcher shop in Amsterdam, NY. It was such a surprise the 2nd or third year we went and he showed up with a jetski (Seadoo). That's why we went there with ours and now we could ride together. Wineries? We must have hit them all. We'd spend many days traveling from one to the next. One summer when temps went well above 100 at Cayuga Lake we all sent most of the day just standing in the lake up to our necks to stay cool. It was always so much fun to spend time with Jerry. So many stories and never a bad moment. And we did the cabin at Great Sacandaga Lake. Eight of us crammed inside. Jerry grilling ham or beef and lots of jetskiing. And I should mention Liz. She was a big part of his life and they were so in love. You could feel the warmth and happiness between them. Knowing David was the icing on the cake. A wonderful family to share life with. After Jerry moved to AZ it was always a delight to get one of his emails letting you know what had been happening the last few months. I miss those emails. He shared so much of his life. Over the past few years I have thought about Jerry often and the great memories we had. It really saddens me to know he is gone, but will never be forgotten. Thank you Jerry!

David, so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was such a wonderful guy. I knew him from our membership in the Beukendaal Fire Dept. here in Glenville NY. He was loved by many of us and we found his wonderful sense of humor.
