Gerania "Granny Goose/ Abuelita" Talavera (née Cisneros) passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 89 in National City, CA. She was born on October 14, 1934, in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Gerania was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother, known for her strength and kindness. She will be deeply missed by her family.

She is survived by her sister Flor, her son Jorge, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Gerania was preceded in death by her husband Jose Talavera Sr., her sons Jose E. Talavera and Arturo C. Talavera.
