Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren

Geraldine was the daughter of George and Josie (Wingler) Noyes, and was born in 1917. Her first marriage was to George Wesley Steeves in 1935 while they lived in Millinocket Maine.  She had several siblings; Paul, Richard, Helen, and George (Bud). Geraldine loved her family more than anything else. She and George were adventurous and traveled from Millinocket to Georgia and Florida,  before eventually re-settling in Newton Massachusetts with their children. They had three children; Gerald Scott Steeves, John Steeves and Dixie Steeves(MacInnis). Geraldine had fond memories of raising a family with George but eventually their marriage ended in divorce. She found a passion in music and started singing and entertaining after the children were grown. She loved singing and making people laugh. She met Robert Puglia, another musician and ended up spending many years together. They married and remained married until her death. Robert referred to Geraldine as the love of his life. They lived in Brighton/Allston MA and Salem NH. Together they entertained in several different bands, making mostly country-western music. She sang, and Bob played guitar. They were a lively couple and enjoyed life and appreciated family and friends.  She was lucky enough to have great friends and family throughout her life. Geraldine had the same best friend Bernie, for over 80 years! We will always miss her.
