What can I say abut Gerri? She was a kind soul with a gentle heart that could always enjoy a story that made her laugh. Her laughter was her signature to everyone she met and she used it well. Like many of us, life wasn’t always easy for Gerri, however she made it work through the love she carried for her family. The family expanded as her children married and as she made new friends and thrived wherever she landed. I met Gerri when my son met and eventually married Gerri’s daughter, Kristin. I have enjoyed knowing Gerri and sharing in her knowledge of roses, on getting good advice on how to improve my bridge game and when enjoying a good, happy laugh with her.

Good bye my friend, I am glad to have known you.
