Our beloved dad/grandpa, Gerald D. Wilkes (aka the Silver Fox) went home on June 6th after heart surgery complications. 

He is survived by his daughters Pam, Donna (Jerry), and Sue (Tom); grandchildren Nicole (Kahala), Kristine (Tim), Madison, Katie; great grandchildren Jack, Lily; and his 1st wife Gerri.

Our dad/grandpa was a kind and funny man. He had a lot of great one-liners! He loved to play golf, loved his diet coke, and his donuts! Our dad/grandpa was an amazing yo-yo player! When he was 11 he won the Yo-Yo Championship Cheerio Tournament and great grandchild Jack has the tournament plaque!

He was in the Airforce for 4 years before his children arrived and was honorably discharged. He was a Crypto Communications Operator and was stationed in Turkey for 2 years right after he was married to our mom/nana, Gerri.

He was so loved and will be missed so much. The world will never be the same with him gone. Everyone in heaven is so lucky now that he's back home to make them all laugh.
