Gerald Roach Sr, 57 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 14, 2023 at University of Louisville Hospital with his family by his side. Mr. Roach was born on July 13, 1965 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Dennis H. Roach and Rosella (Jeffries) Roach.

Gerald was a press operator at Derby Printing. He like long car rides in the country, playing pool and socializing with family and friends, and relaxing with a good book. He will be missed by all who knew him, and he was a one-of-kind individual.

He is preceded in death by parents, Dennis and Rosella; brothers, Stanley Roach, Danny Fields, and Dennis Roach; and nephew, Jimmy Collins.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Gerald Dewayne Roach Jr.; sisters, Norma Collins (Jim), Mary Faye Edgell (Francis); brother, Mark Roach (Cecelia); grandchildren, Dakota, Samuel and Coraline; former spouse, Diane and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

The celebration of his life will be at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, 123 Winning Colors Dr., Mt. Washington, KY 40047 at 6pm on Saturday, January 21,2023 with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 2pm until the service time at 6pm.
