Gerald Issac Krafsur was born on May 15, 1934 in Boston, Massachusetts. He expired on December 15, 2021 in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Jerry was a loving father to four sons (Andrew, David, Joel, and Richard) as well as 8 grandchildren (Alyssa, Alana, Neil, Joseph, Benjamin, Joshua, Jacob, and Jesse).

The world lost one of it's most generous people on Wednesday afternoon. Jerry always put other people before himself and always saw the best in everyone. He was trusting of others to a fault. His generosity cost him a great deal, but he never changed.

He was preceded in death by his son Andrew. The loss of his oldest son in 2019 was devastating but, despite this, he still maintained his positive "glass overflowing" outlook.

In lieu of donations, "break bread" with someone who you have lost touch with. Or, if you are as forgiving as Jerry, forgive and "break bread" with someone who exited your life due to a petty disagreement. Life is too short to hold a grudge.
