We are saddened to announce the passing of Gerald "Jerry" Johnson, an ebullient, creative and loving soul, on April 4, 2024. Affectionately known as Jerry, he was born on August 23, 1953, and left an indelible imprint on the hearts of many.

Jerry had a zest for life that was infectious. He lived life on the edge, going full speed with a heart full of love for those he treasured. His love for carving, motorcycles, music, reading and writing showed his creative side that never ceased to inspire others. His laughter was contagious, his outgoing nature always gathered friends and family around him and his love for children was beyond words. But above all his accomplishments, his son and grandchildren were his greatest pride and joy. 

Lovingly remembered by his son, Shane Johnson, fiancé Kasie Haibeck, and his grandsons, Braxton Vetter and Fynn Johnson, Jerry's legacy of joy and love will live on. His mother, Lorraine Gall, his sister, Dottie Murchie, and his brother, Darell Feigert, hold cherished memories of him that will never fade. His many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and friends also held big spots in his heart. Dallas, Klover, and Hopper. 

Jerry was predeceased by his father, Jack Johnson, step-father, Gottlieb Feigert, daughter, Christina Johnson, and brother-in-law, Kelly Murchie. 

A taco in a bag (provided by family) Potluck Celebration of Life for Jerry will be held on June 9, 2024, from 12:00 Noon -3:00pm at Legion Park, 1111 10th Ave SW Mandan, ND. We invite all who knew Jerry, loved him, and were touched by his vibrant spirit, to join us and bring a side dish, salad, and or a cooler to share in honoring his life. 

Jerry's life was a testament to living each day to the fullest and loving deeply. His memories will remain treasured and his spirit will continue to inspire. Rest in peace, Jerry, you will be sincerely missed.
