Gerald was like a father to me. Actually, he and Edna were my godparents, so I practically grew up in the house with their family. I remember we used to go fishing. He’d have me on his neck with rods and reels in one hand and the tackle box in the other one; down through the cow pastures we went. I remember walking on his back and sharing bowls of butter pecan ice cream, his favorite along with other food. Sharing coffee and laughs. He will missed but he’ll never be forgotten. I love you daddy Gerald. Rest Easy!!!!!
