Gerald Joseph Fraize, 46, a longtime Lowell resident, died Sunday, April 24, unexpectedly while visiting family in Nashua.

A son of Gerald O. Croteau of Billerica, MA and Kathy R. (Fraize) Gallagher of Lowell, he was born on June 7, 1975 in Lowell. He was raised and educated in Lowell and was a graduate of Lowell High School with the Class of 1993.

Gerry worked most recently as a self employed delivery driver, which he had been doing for the past few years. He enjoyed pro wrestling, cars and was a big sports fan. He had a big heart and would help anyone in need. Above all else, his legacy should be that of a family man who displayed generosity and kindness.

Besides his mother, Kathy and his father, Gerald, he is survived by his beloved 6 children, Haley Fraize of Hooksett, NH, Shyla Fraize of Tewksbury, Kevin Fraize of Tewksbury, Christine Fraize of Lowell, Jazmyn Fraize of Lowell, Gerald Fraize Jr. of Nashua, NH and his grandchildren, Benjamin and Hope, his brother, Matthew Gallagher of Maine, formerly of Lowell and his sister, Ashlynn Gallagher, also of Lowell. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Gerry was also the father of the late Matthew Fraize, and brother of the late Brian Fraize who passed away earlier this month.
