Shawn, Shannon, Stacy and Scott: My deepest condolences to you and your families in the loss of your dad. Only today was I made aware of Jerry’s passing.
I hadn’t seen your mom and dad since Gary's services and I so deeply regret that I put off keeping in touch with them. I have always felt blessed to have had them in my life, and I still treasure ALL the memories of our times together! But especially the times they came to see us in the UK, (guest book shows 19 + 2 with Shawn & Molly) and so many other trips to different parts of Europe that we had together. I laugh out loud when I look at pictures and reminisce of those special moments. It never once got old.
May they rest in peace and may you find solace in the fact that you were all blessed with two of the best parents one could ask for.

I worked with Jerry at the City of Shawnee from when he started until he retired. I would go to him for advice on what courses to take and the path I should follow in order to get in the IT field. I will be forever grateful to him for helping me . It was one of my happiest days when he hired me to work for him. Jerry was the Best. He was so proud of his family . Prayers for you all.

So sorry for your loss. I worked with Jerry at the City of Shawnee and had the greatest respect for him. He came to the City at the perfect time and saved the taxpayers a lot of money over the years with his innovative ideas. He used to tell stories about the family trips and from those stories it was easy to tell he loved and was proud of all of you.

I was Jerry's assistant from the 70's and into the 80's at TWA.
Jerry was a wonderful person to work for. He and Libby would come to our holiday parties every year out in the Northland. He had great compassion for his staff.
It was fun having Jerry tell us stories about his children - especially when they started to drive. Think I had to make a couple of calls to the OP PD:)
Loved hearing stories from Jerry when he and his buddies got back from Octoberfest each year in Germany!! Now those were 'great' stories.
Prayers and hugs for the family.

I’m so sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. I was Jerry’s Administrative Assistant at TWA for several years and I remember all of his children, Shawn, Shannon, Stacy & Scott. He was a wonderful person to work for…very kind and caring. I always said he should have been a travel agent in his next life because he not only loved to travel but he loved to help others with their travels. As airline employees, travelling space available can be challenging, but if any of us encountered problems, we just called Jerry and he got on the computer and figured out the best plan for us to get where we were going or to get home. I have many fond memories of him and Libby. I am sorry for your loss.
