Gerald's obituary
Gerald, son of Miriam and Ellsworth Clemens, was born in Stamford, CT in 1959. He was one of 8 children. Despite practice often held at 4 am, Gerry was a committed hockey player at Terry Connors ice rink, and was an avid Springdale little league player. He attended St. Cecilia Elementary School until 8th grade, followed by J.M. Wright Technical School, where he mastered the art of carpentry. He dedicated his career to the moving business, working for many years at Morse Moving, Joyce Van Lines, and Callahan Brothers.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, fishing, and always knew the importance of taking time to relax and take everything in. He was an outstanding father to his two children, Jesse and Eli. His children were his life, and he spent every moment making sure they were taken care of and loved.
A graveside service for Gerald will be held on Saturday, April 10th at St. John’s Cemetery in Darien, CT at 10am. All family and friends are welcome. Please help us keep everyone safe and healthy by wearing a mask and social distancing.
