Georgina's obituary
Georgie’s faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She maintained a strong relationship with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. Her days were often filled with prayer for those around her and time spent reading God’s word. Sunday mornings held special meaning as she faithfully watched sermons by Billy Graham and Charles Stanley. Georgie was known for her boldness in faith—never hesitating to share the message of salvation with any stranger willing to listen.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John A. Hall Jr.; her sister, Betty Holliday; and her parents, Georgina and Matthew Morrison. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Georgie is survived by her twin sister, Roberta M. Bruestle; her children: John A. Hall III (Cheryl), Matthew A.M. Hall (Suzanne), Carrie M. Helverson (Ronnie), Kenneth L. Hall (Anita), and Georgina J. VanNorden (John); along with 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren who carry forward her legacy of love and faith.
Her life was a testament to enduring devotion—to God, to family, and to the countless lives she touched through prayer and witness. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held on September 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Chelten- A Church of Hope 1601 Limekiln Pike.
