Georgie's obituary

Honey, Dear, Mom, Ma, Momma, G-ma, Grandma Sugar or Georgie Anna Emma Oliveri Taylor to some, earned her wings when Jesus decided it was her time to come home. Words are a little hard to do her justice. Loving, caring, kind, sassy, beautiful, sweet, spicy, gracious don’t have definitions that compare to her. And have you ever had her focaccia? It’s her signature dish that took years of perfecting that no one will really ever get right, because she made it special. Sometimes it’s the love and tenderness that’s not in a recipe because so much of it is poured in. Cooking was just one of her talents. She had a passion and a skill of arranging flowers which she did for 20 years. Birthdays, weddings, Valentines Day, Mother’s Day and Anniversaries. Many people were touched by that ability and most definitely still talk about those arrangements today. Before her retirement, Georgie worked 9 years at The Home Depot in Brighton where she never met a stranger. With her love for kids, she ran the Kids workshop where kids of all ages enjoyed building crafts. We can’t imagine the kids lives she’s touched and the careers they will have from a Saturday morning learning how to be creative and working with their hands with her. Her legacy lives on in so many lives.

Georgie was faithfully married to her husband Jeff for 44 beautiful years. They shared a life of traveling, business ventures, holidays, love and devotion. Georgie had three kids that were the apple of her eye, Stephanie and Son-in-law Rick Baum, Nathan and Daughter-in-law Stacey Taylor and Stacy and Son-in-law Casey Graves, along with 7 grand children who took over her world from day one, Alex Taylor, Blain Graves, Faith Graves, Kyle Taylor, Rilynn Taylor, Michelle Baum and Marissa Baum. She has a brother Fred who has two children Nicci and Liana. She is proceeded in her call home by her mother Laura Oliveri, father Anthony Oliveri, and brother Vincent.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held outside at Midway Park - Girl Scout Shelter: 1279 W Midway Blvd, Broomfield, CO 80020 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm on Friday October, 23rd 2020. Because it is unknown as to how many chairs will be provided, we are encouraging people to bring lawn chairs if they would like to sit. Because of the current COVID situation masks and social distancing are required. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the scleroderma foundation at scleroderma.org in Georgie’s name. She would want nothing more than to find a cure to this terrible disease.

From the Chorus of Jenn Bostic

There will be another angel
Around the throne tonight
Your love lives on inside of me,
And I will hold on tight
It's not my place to question,
Only God knows why
I'm just jealous of the angels
Around the throne tonight

We can’t wait to see you again sweet Georgie.
