Georgia's obituary

A New Orleans artist and innkeeper, a graduate of Tulane University with a Master of Fine Arts, Georgia devoted her life to beauty in all its forms — art, antiques, and the soulful character of New Orleans itself.

Her creative spirit came to life not only through her artwork but also through The Muses B&B on Magazine Street, a colorful and welcoming space that reflected her passion for art, community, and joy.

Georgia is survived by her son, Eric Swint, and by the many cats — both her cherished companions inside the house and the neighborhood visitors she lovingly cared for.

She will be remembered fondly by all those who shared in her sharp humor and quick mind.
