Georgia's obituary

Georgia (Martin) Creamer of Ankeny, IA, passed away peacefully on May 22nd, 2025, at Every Step Kavanagh House in Des Moines. 

Georgia was born on July 21st, 1948, in Moline, IL, to Benjamin Martin Jr and Margret (Catterton) Martin of Moline. She married Darrell Creamer on September 26th, 1964, in Moline, IL. 

Georgia retired from Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, CA, in 2004. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, spending time outdoors, watching comedy movies, and westerns. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the Casinos. Georgia loved Country Music, especially Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, and the Judd's. She was deeply loved and will be missed dearly. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother

Per her wishes, there was no funeral or visitation.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell Creamer; daughters, Darla (James) Mayer, Trudy (Anthony) Martin; and son, Darrin (Misty) Creamer. Sister Joan (Robert) Craig. She also has 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Georgetta Creamer, brother Charles Martin Sr, Frank Martin, James Martin, and Benjamin Martin III sisters Delores Martin, Luanne (Gerald) Coon, Ida (William) Lear, Florence Stigers, Mary Hanshaw, and Barbara Doering.
