Georgette's obituary
Georgette Ferrell was born in Denver, Colorado on September 20, 1946. She was one of two daughters of Henry Crawl Ferrell, and Dorothy Georgette Ferrell.
Georgette grew up with her sister Dee, and her cousin Jerry who was more of a brother to her. They had a "Three Musketeers" mentality, and did everything together.
Georgette traveled the world as a military spouse in her younger years. She worked for the Marine Corps for five years, earning herself a certificate of time.
Georgette was always a strong woman who made friends easily. When she settled in Spotsylvainya she quickly became a favorite of many people at the places she went. This included her favorite restaurants, her doctors offices, and the cancer center that treated her.
Georgette was an avid animal lover, she even took care of a large feral cat colony that lived by her home. She took in one of the kittens and named him Oreo. He had an amazing relationship with her, and slept with her every night.
Her favorite animals were elephants, and receiving them as gifts would make her face light up. She had many plushies, statues, and trinkets around her home.
Georgette was proceeded in death by her daughter Claudette DelNigro, and her sister Mary "Dee" D'Entress Ratcliff.
Georgette is survived by her fiance, James Woolfrey of Spotsylvania, Virginia her granddaughter, Tyonna Southers of Hillsville, Virginia, 2 grandsons, Pedro Morales of Henrico, Virginia, and James Morales of Winchester, Virginia, 6 great grandchildren, and 5 step-great grandchildren.
