George's obituary
Master Sergeant George L. Yance, 67, passed away at his Louisville, TN home on February 19, 2022. George was a decorated US Army veteran who retired after 20 years on active duty.
George was born on July 17, 1957 in Ripley, TN to Wilma Brumley. George was predeceased by his step-father Eugene Brumley and brother Danny Brumley. He is survived the love of his life, Carol Scott of Knoxville, TN; sons James Yance and wife Emily, of Durham, NC, Christopher Yance and wife Mary, of Knoxville, TN; step-daughter Charisse Atkisson of Knoxville, TN; his Mother Wilma Brumley; Brothers Jerry, Kevin, and Jon Brumley of Chicago, IL, and his three beloved grandchildren Quentin, Madison, and Malia.
George was well-loved and will be greatly missed.
