Dear Katherine,

Phil and Ionly have wonderful memories of George and the time the two of you lived in Clinton, TN. You made so many friends in the years you shared your lives with us, we are all richer because of having you and George as a part of our lives! George was such a friendly, outgoing person, it was a joy to be with him at anytime. You made his life easier and always were there in the last years when it became more difficult with his health issues. Together you raised five wonderful children and have both the grandsons! Plus all the bonus grandchildren, too. May God greatly comfort you and give you peace in the days and years ahead. You and George were so great together and now you are blessed to have so much still ahead with family and your forever friends.  We were honored to know George and call him friend. We really miss you here Katherine, and anytime you would like to visit, our home is always open. Prayers are being lifted for you daily, my friend. God knows how difficult this past year has been for all of you. Sending you much love. Marty. Matthew 5:4.

Katherine and family, I will always remember George as the quite, gentle man who spoke during our library committee meetings only when he had something of importance to say. And we listened! I know he left you with many wise words, remember them well!
