George Leonard (Lynn) Shipley, Jr., age 64, passed away on April 8, 2026 in Fresno, CA. Born on June 7, 1961 in Fort Knox, KY. He was the son of George Leonard and Barbara Jean Kenner Shipley.

Lynn is survived by Ladda Thow; his children with Ladda:Mason Andrew and Madison Marie; his children with Connie Chy:Lynzie Jean and James Carlyle all of Fresno, CA; his sister Debbie Shipley, (wife Judith) of Pittsboro, NC; half sister Kari Rayburn of Killeen, Texas; step brother Michael Manual (wife Arianna) of Monroe, GA; many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents George L. Shipley(2005) and Barbara Jean Kenner Shipley (1969) both of Rogersville, TN.

While our paths took different directions, our hearts are broken as we acknowledge the loss of his life and hope he has found peace. Lynn will be laid to rest beside his mother at Choptack Baptist Church in Rogersville, TN. The interment and memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
