"Nubby"George Warren Sawyer Jr. 60 born to George Warren Sawyer Sr. and Betty Imogene Henderson Sawyer on July 22, 1959 in Tulsa Oklahoma passed away at home in Sand Springs, Oklahoma Wednesday February 26, 2020. He was survived by his wife Christine Sawyer of the home. Children Kyle Sawyer of Oklahoma City Shane Sawyer of the home Jennifer Sawyer of Sand Springs Tyler Sawyer of Tulsa Kimberly Sawyer of the home Josh Sawyer of the home 14 grandchildren one sister Denna Hayden of Tulsa 2 brother's Weldon Brewer of Tulsa and Jesse Brewer of Washington and several nieces nephews cousin's and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, 3 sisters Starla Wright Neysa White and Joyce Gant and his granddaughter Clara Penelope Holden. George followed his father and brother's footsteps and layed tile and Formica for a living and attempted to teach his boys the same trade. A couple got the hang but the others wanted no part of it. (Too hard for em)! He retired in the early nineties but every once in a while he couldn't resist taking on a job or two. George was a kind hearted loving guy that was soft spoken and well respected! He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
