George Robert Robinson, Jr.

February 19, 1949 - May 13, 2024

George R. Robinson, Jr, 75 of Columbus, Ohio passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 at his home after being bedridden for seven years from a stroke.

Born February 19, 1949 in Canada, he was the son of the late George R. and Edna M. Robinson. On March 15, 1984 he married Kelle D. Coon and they shared 40 years together.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph R. (Jennifer) Robinson and Troy C. (Roxanne) Robinson; daughter, Nikki J. (Hunter) Gunnlaugsson; six grandchildren; and brother, James Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his father, George R. Robinson, Sr. and his mother, Edna M. (Heise) Robinson.

George lived in various places including Germany, Canada and Ohio. He proudly served in the US Air Force and worked for DFAS. He loved OSU football, the Reds, and golf.
