George William Newman passed Feb,18, 2020 . George was born at home on Oct 5, 1939 in Lancaster, Texas to Gilbert T and Dollie Newman. He was in ROTC in high school, met the love of his life Dianne and married her in 1958. George joined the Army in 1960 and stayed till 1966. He was stationed in Ft Hood, Texas and later in Washington State. Tacoma Washington. Also Served in Korea.
Proceeded in death is his Wife Dianne K. Newman Feb, 4th, 1941 - Aug, 24, 2001. Brother Joseph Newman 1933, and Melvin Newman 1999.
Surviving Children are Jennifer E. Newman , Phillip A Newman and Shawn G, Newman. George had 5 Grand Children , Aimee Cryder, Kristine Briers, Nathan Newman, Jesse Newman, and Kaitlyn Ahmed. There are 6 Great Grand Children. James Annesley, Saleen Cryder, Elijah Sheriff, Logan Sheriff, Nathan Sheriff and Inara Ahmed.
George was a loving father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather, he is a Proud Patriot and American. Proud to serve his country.
