It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. George Melikian, a beloved family man and community member. George was born on May 26, 1950, and departed our world on July 7, 2023.

George is survived by his twin Brother, Eshkan Melikian his wife Debbie and his cherished daughter, Michelle Andrea Melikian. He was predeceased by his loving wives, Sheila Muccianti Melikian and Kathleen Pratt Melikian, his father, Melik Melikian, his mother, Olia Melikian, and his siblings, Tamera Melikian, Andranik Melikian, Razmik Melikian, and Kevork Melikian.

"There are special people in our lives who never leave us, even after they are gone." "We do not remember the days, we remember moments."  He leaves behind fond memories with those who loved him.  

George graduated from Roosevelt High School, East Tulare Avenue, Fresno, CA in 1969. He married the love of his life, Sheila Muccianti Melikian in 1973, with whom he had a beloved child. Tragically, he lost Sheila in 2003 and remarried Kathleen Pratt Melikian the following year. He experienced further loss with the departure of his parents and siblings over the years.

One of George's most significant achievements was his service of ten years in the California National Guard, an act of dutiful patriotism. He was a man of many qualities, and his commitment to his family and country was a testament to his character.

George had a special talent for hosting memorable barbecues throughout the year, each event brimming with generous hospitality. His ability to make each person feel welcomed will forever be remembered by all those who knew him. His legacy continues to live on in the hearts and memories of his friends, family, and community members.
