It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George E McComb on February 11, 2024 in Canton Georgia, formerly of Danville, Indiana. He was born on Dec. 5, 1935 in American Falls, Idaho. He had a long life and a satisfying life.

George is survived by his three daughters and their families. Rona and Marvin Campbell, Lori and Joe Walton, and Anita and Ben Roberts of Indiana. He also is survived by his wife, Joyce of Georgia. He will be remembered by his grandchildren Jesse (Ashley) Walton of Tennessee, James (Sydney) Walton of Indiana, and Dakota (Matthew) Rhodes of Indiana. His great-grandchildren are Madison, River, and Logan Walton of Tennessee, Beau Walton and Bexleigh Rhodes of Indiana. He was also survived by his stepdaughter Holley and Gene Sawchuk of Florida. There were also numerous step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, and step great- great-grandchildren.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius Jesse Bryan and Florence (Anderson) McComb of Fairview, Missouri.

There will be a memorial service on Sunday, March 10 between 2-4 at Union Valley Baptist Church, 5499 S County Rd 800 E, Coatesville, IN 46121.
