Dear Olga, Marina, Anya -- it is a privilege to have known George, your husband and father, and to have him call all of us his friends and for us to call George our friend. He always put a smile on our faces and taught us about establishing relationships in a foreign country with a culture different from our own. As you know, I met George, Olga and the girls in 2004 and soon realized the value George brought to our team. His positive outlook was infectious. He will be missed. May George rest in peace. Let's pray we find a cure for Parkinsons and Memory loss. And thank you Olga for sharing your beautiful letter with us. God bless him and you. Dan Egging.

Olga, Marina, Anya, my thoughts are with you at this sad time. I have many happy memories growing up in Glasgow and enjoying family parties with my uncle George. I remember him playing guitar and telling jokes and I was in awe of his world travels. He would leave for months on end and return with the ability to speak a new language and with his suitcase full of exotic souvenirs. We lost touch for years until fate had us both living only a few miles apart in Katy and we met again. I will miss him, I will remember him with fondness.

Olga, we were so sad to hear the news. All the fond memories of working with George in Sakhalin and Houston came flooding back, it was a privilege to know him. George once told me, that he owned one of the first 12 string electric guitars in the UK, so I am pretty sure he is now jamming with the “Rock” greats he loved so much!
Take care,
Rich, Luci , Amelia & Oscar Leach

It is with deep sadness that we share in your family’s loss.
I first met George 16 years ago, and from the very beginning he impressed me with his wit, sense of humor, and kind heart. Coincidentally, Alena—before I even met her—had already shared the same workspace with George at ENL, which felt like a meaningful connection.
Over the years, I came to know George as a highly intelligent person who was always a joy to be around. He was both admired and respected, and I will always carry fond memories of him.
We also deeply appreciate the hard work, love, and care you devoted to supporting George throughout the years. Your devotion was truly remarkable, and it is clear how much it meant to him and to all who knew him.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences. George’s presence will be missed, but his memory will live on warmly in our hearts.

There is a void that I feel every time I look at your empty chair and favorite recliner. My memory brings back the moments when you sat in your corner playing the guitar or reading a book, glancing at me to check what I was doing. I miss you, my sweetheart, and I know you will be deeply missed by many people. But what comforts me is a thought that you don't suffer of pain any more, and your spirit is free. We will cherish so many fond memories of you! Rest in peace, my love, we'll see each other again when the time comes...❤️

Olga - The Flood Family sends love and prayers for you and the family. George was a joy to be around for so many years as part of the Sakhalin Team. He was an amazing teammate who only cared about taking care of people and assuring the Sakhalin Venture was successful. He was a valued expert who always provided expertise and common sense to help us overcome the many problems we faced in Sakhalin and helped us to be the most successful venture in Exxon history. George is now at peace among the Angels all the while telling funny stories in that wonderful Scottish accent. God bless you and the family and let us know if we can do anything to help. Take care Jim, Ekaterina, Maya and Nikita.
