Background

George passed away in the early morning hours of Thanksgiving, 2024, after a 4 month long battle for his life in the hospital, sustaining major injuries.

George went missing at the end of June. After the tireless efforts of my Aunt, who put out a missing persons' report and coordinated with various websites and media outlets, he was found in Oakland, California, 300 miles away from his home. A news station out of San Francisco aired a report from the hospital for help in identifying an unknown patient who came to the hospital after being beaten severely and left on the side of the railroad tracks in Oakland. It was my brother. The shock of seeing my brother in that condition haunts me to this day, and probably forever will.
