George was a wonderful man. I was lucky enough to work for George at the Embassy Suites many years ago. He is truly missed!
Our sincere condolences to Sylvia and the whole family!

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Go now and Rest In Peace my brother.

Karen and Matt
My heartfelt condolences to Aunt Sylvia and George’s kids., my cousins, and also to his brother and sisters, and other relatives and friends.

Uncle a George was a beloved uncle to me. When I was a boy, he (and my uncles Matt and Tim) would always greet me and everyone with a big bear hug. It was before men regularly hugged each other like they do more so now. I loved it. It seemed so natural to them and made me feel instantly welcome and connected.

Whenever we would visit Lompoc, Uncle George would roll out the red carpet, convincing you that you were not only welcome but he was genuinely excited you were there. He regularly went out of his way.

Then and through the last time I saw him, he would was eager to connect. We shared an interest in family history, and in the present family. To the end he was caring and fun and genuinely cared for his extended family..
