Personal note from Christa, George's youngest daughter

We will be having his service at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Mission Hills in Lompoc on January 17th, 2020 in the afternoon and would love to PLEASE have you join us at his sendoff party, "A Party fit for a King," which will follow after. All who would like to be there to pay their respects and to celebrate the life of a great man we knew and loved are welcome to attend.

Please RSVP on the site if you're able to so that we can have an idea of the numbers we expect to attend so we are well prepared. Thank you for being a part of His life, there wasn't anyone he treated like a stranger or an acquaintance, and he treasured all his friends and relationships.

If you have a memory or story you would like to share with our family and his friends, please feel free to leave one in the memory section down below.

We will have a block of rooms setup at the Embassy Suites (the hotel that He managed from the build, and on for well over a decade that he was well known for in town,) and we will also have a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn where the party will be.

Dad was known by a lot of people and in many different capacities, but for us, he was our fierce protector, our biggest fan, he taught us that there was always a reason to smile, to sing or dance to a favorite song when you feel like it, and to have gratitude for being alive. He never gave up even when times were tough, he always found a way to smile, give a lending hand, and to share a corny joke or two for laughter.

He had an Irish proverb he hung on the wall and I believe he lived his life by it, and I hope you will too.

“Dance as if no one is watching, Sing as if no one were listening, and Live each day as if it were your last”
