George's obituary

George Leo Josephson Jr, age 62, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center - Fuld Campus in Trenton, NJ. Born in Lakewood, NJ, he was a lifelong resident of the Trenton, NJ area after spending some time living in Arizona.
Prior to his death, George was employed at R&J International Laundromat in Trenton, NJ. In his younger years, he did a short stint in the US Army before being medically discharged.
Son of the late George Leo Josephson Sr, and brother of the late Richard Caruso, he is survived by his wife Deidera Josephson, a daughter Megan Valentin, a granddaughter Lily Valentin, his mother Joan Girton-Caruso, step-mother Phoebe Josephson, five brothers Bruce Josephson, David Josephson, Donald Josephson, Joseph Caruso, and Steven Caruso, and four sisters Cheryl Josephson-Baker, Donna Josephson-Rana, Jennifer Josephson, Debbie Josephson, and Linda Josephson, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to the current circumstances, cremation will be private and a funeral service will not be held. A private family memorial and interment will be set up at a later date that is yet to be determined.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Johns Hopkins’ COVID-19 Response.
