I was so sad to hear about Uncle George’s passing and my sincerest condolences to all of you. I was so glad that my godmother Jestina Bultman introduced me to this wonderful family. The way he, Aunty Yamide, Geraldine and Dalton welcomed me and made me feel like family while I was a grad student living in NY, I will always be grateful for them. Uncle George was such a jovial and hilarious person. I remembered him and Aunty Yamide calling me and inviting me to attend service at their church. That’s when I really knew that the Goodning family was a good family of believers. Other times I just spent time at their home in Uniondale and the visits there were always nice. Although I haven’t spoken to Uncle George in years (and I surely wish I had kept in touch a lot better) I am so happy I had the pleasure of knowing him. Aunty Yamide, Geraldine and Dalton, please know that I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. I’m so sorry again for your loss, much love and may Uncle George RIP 🙏🏽❤️

We still don't believe that George is gone. We missed him so much, he is funny always makes people laugh. We missed him on the grill whenever he has something going on. He is always there to advise. He is that person like to entertain. It's a lot to say about George but I'll just cut it short. We missed you dearly until we meet again. We love you but God loves you most. May God continue to comfort the family as they mourn. Sleep and take your rest. May your soul RIPP 🙏.
On behalf of my family -Elfrida.
