I worked with George for a couple of years and one thing was clear. He worked hard to learn and succeed in a new environment and all that was done to provide for his family whom he loved very much.

Jackie,

I am so sorry for your loss. He was such a great person. Keeping you and the kids in my thoughts and prayers.

Uncle George never failed to …
Uncle George never failed to keep your heart happy as well as your stomach extra happy. Anytime you left the Gonski house you were well-fed, hurting from laughing so hard, and feeling grateful to be a part of their lives. Thank you for giving me some of my favorite childhood memories, for raising the two most wonderful boys and beautiful girls I have the pleasure to call cousins and friends, and for always welcoming me back into your house with open arms no matter how much time has passed. Rest in peace, Uncle George. You will be missed, but I will never stop eating crab legs because of you🫶🏼🦀
I met George when we were freshman in high school.  I was new to the area and we bonded and became best friends. This should have lasted a lifetime, but things happen.  I also introduced him to my sister and their relationship would produce two wonderful boys.  However, their relationship went south and they would divorce leading me and George to grow apart.  People especially me always say to themselves one day we’ll get together again until it’s too late.  Love ya George hope the Lord is looking after you until one day I can.
I am so sorry and heartbroken for your loss…keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. ❤️
Jackie I’m so sorry for your loss! Prayers and hugs for you and your family! ❤️
I have worked with George for several years at GEODIS and really enjoyed being around him. As a Cardinals and Packers fan we were always bickering and going back and forth about baseball and football. We always had bets going for who would finish higher in the standings between the Cardinals/Cubs and Packers/Bears. I actually needed to go see George because the Cubs finished higher than Cardinals this year. I owed him, so wanted to contribute here. My position has me moving around our campus to different accounts, so I didn't get to see George every day unfortunately. When I did see him though, we always stopped and talked for awhile. I'll miss seeing him around campus. He was a great worker and an even greater dude. My deepest condolences on your loss.
