George Michael Gaugler, aged 74, passed away April 28, 2025 in New York, NY. He was born January 31, 1951 in Orange, New Jersey.

George is survived by his sister, Karen (Owings) and niece, Kristin. He loved both dearly. He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher, mother, JoAnn (Hardenbrook) and his partner, George Reuter.

George grew up swimming and surfing on the Jersey shore and continued surfing when he lived in Southern California where he attended USC. He loved music, cinema, theater, traveling, his pets and the professional sports teams of the city he called home for the better part of his life.

George previously was employed by Rockefeller Center as a Security Supervisor and later worked for Elite Security in the Division of Special Events.

He will be missed by all that knew him.
