George's obituary

George A. Boucher, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020, at the Hospice Care Center in Palm Harbor, Florida with his daughter by his side. George was a very proud Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Army between 1967 and 1973. He was born in Waterbury, CT, in 1949 and moved to Florida in 1980. George worked as a Semi Truck Driver, Heavy Machinery Mechanic, and a HandyMan (owning his own HandyMan business, In-Side-Out). George is survived by his daughter and best friend, Brie; Grandson and light of his life, Rajon; sisters, Michelle (RI), Sharyn (FL) and Patti (ME); brothers, Victor (TN), and Bill (CT). George was predeceased by his mother Cecile Choinier and his parents Fred and Jeanne Boucher. George loved so genuinely and lived so generously. He would give you the shirt off of his back and his last dollar over and over again. He would always choose to go without so he could help others. George was loved and cherished by so many and will be deeply missed.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. If you are so inclined, in lieu of flowers, please remember him to Suncoast/Empath Hospice https://suncoasthospicefounda… for providing the utmost care and comfort.
