My Dear Friend!! Safe Travels and I’ll be seeing you! Love Billy
George was my cousin. I loved him and I miss him. He cared about his family, and was always interested to hear about his niece and his nephew. I always enjoyed our conversations and I always expected he would be in our lives forever. I was very proud of his educationaI, professional and military achievements. I miss him and his caring spirit. ‘I love you cuz’
Dr. Bondar was a warm and considerate man, a distinguished veteran and patriot.  I am proud to have known him if only briefly as my dermatologist.  I shall miss him .  May our Lord give Peace and comfort to all of his family and friends.

George touched and mentored so many young military team mates.  His legacy of leadership, love, compassion, and learning continues through all of us.

We will never forget the love he wrapped around our family when my daughter was undergoing chemotherapy.

George will be missed in the present but will always be in our hearts and memories.

Your Brother in Arms!

Maj Gen John Bartrum & Family

Godspeed Bondar! Sorry we never made it to Florida and for that I’m sorry.  So many selfless stories throughout your military career.  As our Flight Surgeon at the 328th ALS, you took care of us and our families as well.  Whenever you were in town you checked on my aging parents and my kids..  You meant so much to all of us!

I just found out about Dr.-Bondar. I am still in disbelief and so heartbroken over this news. I became a patient of Dr. Bonssr’s when I owned a restaurant across the street from his office. After selling my restaurant I continued to see Dr. Bondar even though I live in Eastern Hillsborough County. I would drive from anywhere to records care from Dr. Bondar. I’ve never met a doctor and a person who was more caring and down to earth than him. He managed to spend as much time with you as you needed all while dealing with the pressure from a corporation to get you in and out as soon as possible . He performed miracles every day. He always went out of his way to thank me for coming from so far away to entrust him with my care. He said it meant a lot to him. And I always thanked him in  return and I always made it a point to tell him that I was the one who was thankful. After all I was the one who was in the presence of true greatness!

Rest in peace Doc.

He always made YOU feel so special, when it was he who was truly special.  The kind of person we wish we were lucky enough to have in our lives longer than we did.  The only thing making this better is imagining the smile on his face when he got to see Cathi again.  Doc, we will love you forever and you will never be forgotten.
It was an honor and privilege to know such an extraordinary person. George was a man of integrity, who achieved so much throughout his life. Above all, his greatest accomplishment was the unwavering love he showed to everyone around him. He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Cathi, and a true friend to all who knew him. He always treated me with respect and kindness, and my heart aches now that he is no longer with us. However, it brings me comfort to know that he is reunited with his beloved wife and at peace.
Dr. George Bondar, a.k.a. The Colonel will be greatly missed by all. I had the pleasure of calling him a close and personal friend for 16 years and there will forever be a void in my life with his tragic departure.  My deepest sympathies are extended to his immediate family and close friends.

I was terribly shocked and saddened to hear of George's passing.  He was a dear friend who made sure we kept in touch over the years, we had spoken only a couple of weeks before he left us.  We attended and graduated WVSOM together in 1987.  So many fond and funny memories rush forward when thinking of George.  Known to everyone in our class and those surrounding as "Bondar", he showed compassion, support and comic relief when needed.  George never met a stranger and had a quick, dry wit.  Always had a story or a funny comment when needed.  His personality and humor led to the publication of "The Book of Bondar" which included many of his signature sayings and anecdotes, was distributed to all of his classmates, school staff and faculty upon our graduation.  He touched many lives in such a positive way that his legacy will live on. George was a true and faithful friend, a loving husband, a talented physician, a lifelong learner (I often said that he had more degrees than a thermometer) and a patriot in voluntary military service to his adopted country.

I will think of you often and cherish our friendship forever, GODSPEED MY BROTHER!

Dr. Bondar was one of the best!  I loved our talks about his life and my kids.  Calling my oldest his “main man”.  He was always there for everyone.  Truly a hero to his patients and those who were lucky to have known him.  May he have eternal peace with our Lord.
Dr. Bondar was so much more than a doctor. I would leave my appointments feeling so inspired. He had a way to encourage you to take risks and live life to its fullest. Dr. Bondar will be extremely missed by my entire family. We always had a story to share after our appointments with him. Our condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed dearly.

Sorry for your loss. George left us too soon. He was my favorite doctor.

I feel incredibly blessed to have been friends with George and his late wife, Cathi. Their warmth and kindness was unwavering. George always treated me like family, constantly showing genuine interest in my life and my wellbeing. He carried an abundance of care in his heart for everyone he knew. His intuitive sense of when someone needed help was remarkable, and he never hesitated to offer his support where he knew it was needed. His selflessness was a rare and beautiful quality that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed.
He left us too soon! My deepest sympathy to his family!
I am so very sorry and saddened to hear of Dr Bondar’s passing.  He was the best doctor I’ve ever had.   He was so thoughtful and caring.  Not only my Dermatologist, he helped me with other health issues.  He will be greatly missed.  To his family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
