Background
In lieu of flowers, these funds would actually be used for a small family gathering at his favorite local restaurant after the service. This will be a great send off for him and we will toast him with boiled crawfish, mirliton and shrimp, gumbo and other Cajun food that he loved so much. When I saw him the day before he died, I told him I'd bring him back some seafood when I returned from my class reunion in LaPlace in a couple of weeks. I never dreamed he would pass when he did.
