George Anderson Sr, 77 of DeWitt, Michigan, passed away suddenly on August 26, 2022. George is survived by his loving wife Beverly, his son, Michael Anderson Jr. (Susan Anderson), Step - Sons Chuck Dunn (Cyndi Dunn) and Chris Dunn and his grandchildren: Alex Anderson, Kayla Carter and Caleb Carter. He was proceeded in death by his father: David S. Anderson, mother: Fredna Anderson and brother: David Anderson. Extended Family: Julie Dunn, Mike Dunn, Dillion Shepard, and Dean Haan.

George was a retired LT from the US ARMY, retired from General Motors, avid golfer and was adored by many family and friends. He had a huge heart and always wanted to help his family, friends (and even strangers) with his tips, knowledge and advise. George enjoyed meeting new people and took great pleasure in talking with everyone he met and making them feel welcome.

For many years, George and Beverly traveled and wintered in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. As a couple, they enjoyed numerous activities such as: Happy Hour on the pier, playing cards, enjoying time friends and playing golf.

Services will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, in DeWitt Michigan; On Friday, September 2, 2022. A viewing of the body will be help from 11am - 12pm, followed by a service from 12pm - 1pm.
