My condolences to George's family. I first met George when he and Linda came to Austin to work at REMAX. Or business relationship was great but we played golf as much as we possibly could and that's where the friendship really grew. I loved it when Linda and Carrie got into the game and came out with us.
One of the best things about George and our friendship with Jack too, was how much we all loved our families. There were never any off color jokes or silliness. Just a genuine love and affection for our wives and children and grandchildren. I think that's what made it even better. George helped me through so many things in my career and life with just direct honesty and a true caring.
I missed him quite a bit when he moved to DFW to be with his grandchildren but that was a move I would have made in a minute! I appreciated the fact that he stayed in touch and would reach out whenever he came to town.
George, you will certainly be missed by all of the people you sincerely cared about.
I hope they have some scotch tape up there!
All my best Sir and Thank you from the bottom of me heart...

George Johnson was the class act in the world of machinery sales engineering. As a boss and true friend he was always available and supportive. Always with a smile he inspired 110% effort from all he worked with. He will be missed.

George was a wonderful man. John held their grade school friendship dearly and it allowed me to share in the warmth at your home and later a Pittsburgh visit. You shared such a beautiful friendship that grew from this childhood friendship .
